The Origin

Our story begins with a lifelong love of the outdoors. Long days in the sun, on the water, and on the trails. Over time, that connection to the sun became something more than just a backdrop, it became a question of what it left behind on the skin. Years later in Los Angeles, after a day at the beach, our founder realised that even when skin wasn’t visibly burned, it still needed more. The aloe gels she reached for vanished too quickly, leaving skin tight and unsatisfied. What was missing was an after-sun product that felt hydrating, restorative, and refined. Something beyond aloe.

The Research

Curiosity led her deeper into the science of what really happens to skin after UV exposure. The truth: damage doesn’t end when the sun sets. Oxidative stress, dehydration, and collagen breakdown continue for hours, showing up as dryness or tightness the next day, and as pigmentation, fine lines, and loss of elasticity years later. Skin needs antioxidants, barrier support, and advanced hydration to fully recover.

The Creation

That discovery became the foundation of Frey Skin. What began as a single idea, that after-sun care could go beyond soothing, grew into a collection designed to actively repair, replenish, and protect sun-stressed skin. Science-driven, elegant, and created with integrity.

The Vision
